It looks like Microsoft doesn't wants to be left out of the social computing game. From the Wallop website:
Microsoft Spins Out A Wallop
Microsoft IP Ventures program teams up with Silicon Valley entrepreneur to create a new social networking company
...The company aims to solve the problems plaguing current social networks and introduce an entirely new way for consumers to express their individuality online...
Ah, the fresh scent of marketing double-talk, I love it. Interestingly, the entire site (what there is of it) is Macromedia (Adobe) Flash. Can't wait to see what this is all about.

Re: Flash and Navigation
Hello John
The site hasn't changed in months, maybe MS has backed off and they've run out of VC money
I don't think I've seen it mentioned anywhere else either, it may just die off without getting off the ground.
It looks like they're just linking to a text box within the Flash file, so there's no way to link to a particular page. One of the problems using Flash for your site development platform.
You probably know this, but if you where able to grab the URL you would need to enclose it using the standard <a> </a> html tags inside the comment here in order to create a live link:
<a href="paste the URL">enter the linked text here</a>
Not exactly user friendly, but without implementing a seperate WYSIWYG module I don't have many options.

I agree that the use of Flash is interesting. I went to the About page and found something interesting there (perhaps the bouncing box; can't remember). I decided to post a link to the About page here, but could not. No right click to grab the URL.
Oh, and for what it is worth, which is probably not much, I don't recall ever seeing Wallop before. Totally new to me. Underwhelmed at this point...
